What a weekend!!!

My small little house held lots of people this weekend. FUN FUN FUN
Friday night I had Travis (my big nephew from Rigby) and two of his friends stay. They are in a wrestling tournament out to Snake River. Ryan brought down the pipe for the ditch, 80 feet of it and so he had Bowdie, the dog (this makes three dogs at the house), and Joshua and then Mel and Aspen came later. So add Erik and me and Dancia, Mom is working this weekend so Grandma has her, and my house was very full. Saturday we added Stacie and Maverik to the mix but subtracted Travis and his friends (sorry but I am a math teacher). Lots of people and dogs and food and fun. Between Joshua and Maverik I went through a lot of strawberry milk. They are so fun to watch as they play together. The little girls, Madison, Danica and Aspen aren't quite sure they want to play together because that means they have to share. Forgot that even though Mark, Melissa and Madison didn't spend the night they were at the house during the day.

School in session

Spring break is over and we came back in a blizzard. It is only March 31st, anything can help until June and even then it isn't a sure deal. The students are sluggish and dead to the world. Welcome back to life in the fast lane.

Snowy Days

My dad just called from Rexburg and they have a blizzard there (still going after two hours), roads have been closed and schools canceled for the day. I keep telling people it is only March, there is still time for lots of snow :) This is the newest addition to our family. Erik has finally gotten his dream truck, a Dodge Dakota (it's even red). He has named it Hallie (for hallelujah)(we name our vehicles) and he has the biggest grin on his face whenever he looks out the window and sees it in the driveway. He is headed to St. George next week where he hopes to find a job and also to get a teaching position at the new St. George High School. Cross your fingers.

Additions

I am attempting to update our family picture with the new girls on the block, Madison, Danica, and Aspen. They were born in 2006 after the family picture was taken. They are wonderful and I enjoy the loves and kisses, each with a totally different personality (and I do mean different personalities). All three have curly hair and always a smile. (See side pictures)

First of many

Lindsay, this is for you, well not totally. My daughter, Lori has faithfully done a blog for a year now and it is awesome. Hopefully this will go forth and become a family adventure for not only my immediate circle but my extended one as well. This picture was taken in 2005 (family picture on top of page) so it isn't recent but attempts to update have been unsuccessful at this juncture but we will kept trying. Happy blogging.
