Halloween, I had Danica and Archer (no school for me today)so I got them dressed up and we went to see Grandpa and Grandma Malm and then met Mom and Dad at the Truck or Treat. There is a giant boathouse next to the church that they had done up as a spook alley.

I know I'm behind, CATCH UP time

Life is definitely moving faster these days with school, school, and school and then family and all the other things that make life, life. I'm just glad that life seems to be good at the moment and that everyone in my life is doing okay right now. That doesn't mean we haven't and aren't having our struggles but for right now we are still picking up our feet and moving forward. The holidays have started and spirits are expectant. Many prayers have been and are being offered lately for loved ones and I know that no matter what the final chapters will be, all our lives have been watched over and He is close by. I am so relieved that Christine and her little one are improving, that Danica came through her tonsils in great shape, that Stacie is surviving her back, Archer isn't little any more, Tom has job prospects to at least look at, Dad is okay and I hope he'll always know how much I love him and Todd is doing great and almost has a year down. I need to get some pictures from Stacie but here's the last little while in my circle of life.

Maverik's birthday

Let's see what else has happened. Joshua's birthday (June 1st), Archer's birth, Maverik's birthday????
Melissa is getting really good at baking birthday cakes. My house gets smaller with each celebration but how thankful that I have a house that is also a home to so many people. One of my favorite pastimes is to just sit back and watch when my family is around and cherish the blessings they have brought into my home and my life. I wouldn't trade it for the world, although I wish I could redo but then that is how we learn and grow right.

Joshua's Birthday

Two best friends always hanging out. It is always so fun to see them together. The are the reason why you know that families are meant to be together. It is also a tradition in the house because there are three little girls now that are fast becoming best buds too.

This is Joshua's birthday party in Idaho Falls. He turned a whopping four this year on June 1st. I believe all the grandchildren are fishes. They had a blast. Lets see, I'm am also excited that school is done and I have one week before I have to start back to summer school. Oh well, enjoy all that you can , when you can.

Dani and little bro

The plug laying next to AJ shows you just how little he is. It looks huge beside him. He is content with life.









Dani was excited to see her brother and could pronounce his name very proficiently. She was a little hesitant to go to Mom because, "she hurts". She could see the tubes in her and was cautious. Taylor did her hair this morning and right before we left Aunt Lala (not sure we spell that) put the flower in her hair.













The nurses all swooned over this little girls eyes and hair. What can a grandma say but yup. She grabs you with her eyes and you can't get away. And her hair is the greatest, nice and curly.

Number 12 is early but here healthy

This is Archer J Lamb. He came into the world about five weeks early but so far is doing fine. He was born at 12:40 am on June 24th at 4 lbs 13 oz and measuring a whopping 17 3/4
inches. The neo nurse said that the one thing that we wanted to see happen was that he would cry when he came and he answered all of our prayers and yelled loud and often. That was one battle won. So far (he is now 17 hours old) he is breathing on his own and looking good but they did have to put a feeding tube in. We are glad he's here and doing okay and thankful that Stacie is also doing good with her close brush with death. She developed toxemia and her blood pressure shot severly high. We are grateful that she was emitted into the hospital and that we still have her and the baby. Many thanks to Michelle (our wonderful nurse) and Doctor Ogden, they were extremely wonderful and probably saved two lives. Blessings and prayers don't go unheard and in this case fulfilled. Thank you.

Catch-up Time

That's see it is now June 15th so I'm over a month behind and so I'll try to play some catch-up on events and post some new pictures of the family. May is graduation time so I was working on getting seniors ready for graduation. I have been doing it for thirteen years now and what can I say, seniors are an amazing group. Besides graduation, we had some birthdays: Ryan, May 5th - 32; Tom, May 9th - 38; Jon, May 20th - 31; Lori, May 23rd - 34 and one anniversary, Mark and Melissa - #6.

I also got my back room cleaned out and then moved my whole room in it and checked out of school on time this year (I think it had something to do with graduation happening on Friday night instead of Wednesday this year).

As soon as I got checked out my helpers, Megan, Nici, and Mav went to Rexburg to visit and watch Joshua and Aspen for a minute. They (Joshua and Aspen got to come and visit me for a couple of days so Mel could get some grading done. I think she needed time to breathe with some new events in her life. We had a good time.

Madison came and spent a couple of hours with me while Melissa and Maverik went to swim lessons. She helped me set up the TV in the back room (Erik abandoned room) and then we took in the banana chair and she watched 101 Dalmanations and was content with the world (she was in her own little world).

After all the work on the ditch (see below), I still got flooded. There are about four holes further down the ditch, not on my section. So I still have a battle to go. Life is certain eventful.

It's over

May 10, 2008
Mark made us suffer three hours of commencement while he got his bachelor's in sign language. Erik also got his bachelor in chemistry and associate in physics, but he's in the sunny land of St. George and loving it. What can a mother say, I'm pretty proud of them. Now the job hunting will begin for Mark. Erik seems to have secured one job working at a food storage store and possible getting a teaching positon at a new 6th/7th grade school for the fall. They have both done great. I'll add pictures of Mark later when I retrieve my camera.
